MR. J. NEWMAN begs to offer his services to the Public as an AUCTIONEER & GENERAL AGENT, directing his attention particularly to the Sale of Cattle, Horses, and other Live Stock. From his long experience in farming, he hopes, in this department at least, to be able , to take the lead of his cotemporaries. To meet the wishes of several parties concerned, he intends to commence ' Periodical Sales at Otahuhu, that being the centre of the overflowing energy and industry of our .thriving community. > '» ' <, v He will also hold a Monthly Sale at the Cattle Market of the Hundred of Auckland, Epsom Road, on the second Tuesday of every Month, and a Sale of Horses on the first Saturday of every Month in Town. Fat Stock can be kept at fixed charges in his Remuera Paddock, within a mile and a half of the Public Slaughter House, and sold by private contract to the Butchers. To shippers from Sydney, and parties in the interior, this will be a great advantage.

AS LAND AGENT.

After ten years' experience in the Colony, and being conversant with every district where land is open for sale, he hopes to be able to make such selections, as will give entire satisfaction to those parties who may offer him their patronage.
