BURDLE RACE of 25 sovereigns. Weight, 11 st. Ten leaps; four feet. Twice round and a distance. Entrance, £2 1 0s.

PANMURE PLATE Of 20 sovereigns. Weight for age. Heats. Once round and a distance. Second Horse to save his stakes. Entrance, £2. MAORI RACE

Of 5 sovereigns, For Horses bona fide the propei ty of, and ridden by Aborigines. Heats. Once round and a distance. Catch weights. Entrance free. HACK RACE

Of 10 sovereigns. Single event. Twice round. Catch weights. Second horse to save his stake. Entrance, £1-

Entries to be made at the Exchange Hotel

on Wednesday, 23rd April, from 8 to 10 p.m. Entries for the Hack Race may be made at the Course, immediately after the Panmure Plate. The first race will start at 12 o'clock precisely. Rules and Regulations for this Meeting the same as at the last Auckland Races. All Dogs found on the Course will be destroyed. By order of the Stewards, H. Hardington, Clerk of the Course.

BEGS to announce that he has resumed Business as Butcher, and has opened a Shop in Queen-street, opposite the Ship Inn, where he has now, and will continue to keep on hand a large supply of Good Beef and Mutton.
