TENDERS FOR A RANGER, IMPROVEMENTS AND CARTING.
SEALED TENDERS will be received by the Wardens of the Hundred of Auckland from persons desirous to perform the duties of Ranger, for the present year, ending 31st December. Tenders to be sent to the " Royal George Inn," on or before 12 o'clock, noon, on Saturday, the Bth, and applicants are requested to call at the same place on Saturday, the 15th, at 10 o'clock, p. m.
For Improvements to Fence of the Public Slaughter House, and to build a ftone Wall adjoining.
From Persons willing to enter into an Agreement for Carting the Meat from the Public Slaughter House to Auckland, during the present year, at per Carcase. Any Information will be afforded on the Premises, by Mr. D. G. Smale, Superintendent of Slaughter House for the Hundred. Tenders to be delivered at the " Royal George Inn," Epsom Road, on or before 12 o'clock, noon, of the Bth. February 4th, 1851.
British & Foreign Warehouse. GREAT REDUCTION IN PRICES !
AFTER Monday, the 16th instant, the Extensive Stock of Drapery Goods now on hand will be submitted for sale at a very great reduction, with a view of clearing out during the present period of the season all remaining Summer Goods. The character for quality of this Stock, and the prices at which the goods will be sold, cannot fail to prove an attraction to all who desire to secure in their purchases a good and cheap article. Among other goods esteemed particularly cheap are the following — Printed Muslin and De Lame Dresses Ladies' Plain and Flowered Dresses in Silk Camel Hair, Ottoma, Alberi, Balzarine and other materials Ladies' and Children's Bonnets, in Silk, Satin, Batiste, Tuscan, Straw, &c. Ladies' and Children's Mantillas, Polkas, Visetts, &c, &c. Parasols, Shawls, Scarfs, Aprons A great variety of Lace Goods, too numerous to particularise Boys' Dresses in great variety Girls' lace trimmed Petticoats, Trowsers, &c. Girls' plain and flounced Dresses, in various materials Coburg Cloths, Orleans and Alpaccas Window Muslin, figured and plain White Muslin Dresses Calicoes, Prints, Hosieiy, &c, &c. ALSO, Some very excellent Beaver Hats, which have been greatly reduced in price.
The sale of these Goods under the reduced rate will continue for about a month or six weeks, according to the progress made in clearing off, and therefore will not terminate with the advertisement. February 7, 1851.

AN extraordinary large Stock of Bonnets being on hand this department has been necessarily subjected to a most unusual falling off in price, in order to effect the desired of object of these goods during the present season. Very good Bonnets will be sold from Is. 6d. upwards. February 7, 1851.
