GRANT FROM THE CROWN,
The boundaries commence at JVairaai — thence to Paetako — thence to Whahoa, Wakapaetai, Korako, Otahuta, Teputa, Ohea, Pukerukeru Wakarongo Tuketuke Awataotaoroa, and across the neck of land to the Waimai. A considerable portion of this block is bounded on two sides by the Pukake creek, and the Manakau Harbour, and it is well known to comprize some of the best and most fertile land in this district. The Auctioneers recommend intending purchasers to visit this piece of Land before the day of Sale (22nd inst), in order to judge "of its quality and capabilities.

MISCELLANEOUS CONCERT in Aid of the Funds of The Auckland Mechanics' Institute.
A NUMBER of Gentlemen, members of the Sacred Harmonic Society, and others, having kindly proferred their services in aid of the Auckland Mechanics' Institute, by giving a Concert of Miscellaneous Music, Wednesday Evening, the 22nd Instant, has been fixed for the purpose. Tickets (single 2s. 6d, ; double 45.) with programmes, will be ready in a few days, and may be engaged at Mr. Williamsons, at Mr. J. T. Boylan's, or of Mr. Hansard, Hon. Sec.
