The Susan, Captain Jones, from Newcastle on the 30th ultimo, arrived at Kawau on Saturday, with a cargo of 280 tons coals, she takes 120 torn of copper regulm back to Sydney. She wad detained 16 dayi al Newcastle but has made a goodiun of nine days from Newcastle to Kawau. There wa« upwards of 6000 tons of Shipping lying at NewcßStlc when the Sutan sailed. The barque Glencoo, LillewnU, hence the sth Oct., arrived at Newcastle on the 18th ult. She may be daily expected here. The schooner Sister, King, hence on the 3rd Oct., arrived in Sydney, on the 18th ult. The barque Constantinople, Young, from Wellington the sth October, arrived at Sydney on the 24th ultimo. . The Government Brig Victoria, tailed from Wellington on the 3 1st ultimo, ihe has the Adelaide's mail at welt as the Wellngton mail, and ii several days over due, she may be hourly looked for. The schooner Sisters, Ctpt. Clarke, arrived at Wellington from California on the 30th ultimo, md w« to sail for the Canterbury Settlement in a few dayt. The brig Maukin, Bowden, sailed for Melbourne on the 20th October, and tko schooner Comet, Cork, for Turanaki, on the 24th. The barque Royal Saxon, Chalsworth, arrived at Hobarton on the sth October, from Calcutta, 29th June. Our much retpected townsman J. L. Campbell, Etq., ot the firm of B own and Campbell, it a passenger by her and may shortly be expected here. The ship Nile arrived at Hobatton, on the 3rd of October, making the voyage in 87 dayi. The Governor of Van Diemen's Land hat received instructions to forward the 299 prisoners (ticket of leave holder*) recently arrived per Nile to Moreton Bay, should there be no employment for them on the island,— Hobarton Courier. The Christina, arrived *t Port Phillip, spoke the Eden from Londot, for New Zealand, off Cape Liptrap, out 128 dayi.— Herald, Oct. 25.
