TOWN PROPERTY, VESSELS, HORSES, &o.

Have received instructions from the Proprietor, Mr, J. Waite, to sell hy Public Auction, at their Mart, Queen Street, THIS DAY, November 6th, at 12 o*clock, THE UNDERMENTIONED TOWN PROPERTY, VESSELS, BOATS, HORSES, DRAYS, HARNESS, LIME, FIREWOOD, &c, the Proprietor being about to remove to the country, viz :— Lot 1. — Brick built Dwelling House, in Queen-street. This very commodious and substantial brick buildimj, which stands on a scoria foundation, consists of three floors, with ample cellarage in the basement, every apartment having a fireplace, and one large room (32 feet by 16) with two entrances and two fireplaces • a large yard with a wide appioach from the road. Lor 2 —At the rear of the foregoing, a substantially built weather-boarded Dwtlli >q House, an excellent four-stall Stable, a two-stall Stable, and various Outhouses, all quite new, erected with the best materials in the strongest manner ; a large Stable- Yard, and approach well paved with scoria. These valuable premises, situate at one of the principal entrances to the Town, present a most desirable site for a good Hotel, or an extensive establishment for general business — and in the rents which they would yield, offer an eligible investment for capital. Lot 3. — A Bay Cart Horse, thoroughly trained to draff, rising 5 years, one of the best horses in the colony. Lot 4. — A Bay Cart Horse, thoroughly trained, rising 4 years, and a most useful animal. Lot 0 to 12.— 2 Box Drays, 2 sets Shaft Harness, and 3 sets Leading Harness. Lot 13.— About 200 bushels Coral Lime, burned from imported Coral. Lot 14.— -About 2000 Bushels Shell Lime. Lot 15 — About 200 tons Firewood. These three lots will be subdivided at Sale into quantities to suit purchasers. Lot 16. — The new copper-fastened Schooner " Hero," with all lier masts, sails, standing and running urging, two anchors, two chain cables, &c, &c. The " Heio" was built at Brbk Bay, Aucklaud, of the very best mateiials, no expense being spared to render her a first-rate craft of her size. Registered tonnage 16 tons; canies 32 tons firewood ; has only gone two trips. Lot 17. — The well-known Cutter "Auckland,*' with her masts, sails, cordage, &c, &c. This vessel has just had a thorough repair, new sails and cordage, and is in excellent working order ; carries about 20 tons. Lot 18. — A Ship's Long Boat, a strongly built, useful boat, carries about 6 tons. Lot ip— A Flat-bottomed Punt of about the same but then.

Two COTTAGES, adjoining the foregoing, with Yards, Well of Water, &c, now occupied at six shillings per week each. And, a Building Lot with frontage to Chapel street of 20 feet, and depth G6 feet.
