HOLLOWAY'S PILLS AND OINTMENT.

CURE OF ACUTE RHEUMATISM OF FOUR YEAR'S STANDING. Extract of a Letter from Mr. John Pilt, Dudley, 19th Jan., 1850. " To Professor Holloway. Sir, — It is with the greatest pleasure that I write to thank you for the benefit I have received from your Pills and Ointment, which have completely cured me of the Rheumatism, under which I suffered for this last four years, at times I was so bad as hardly to be able to walk. I had tried every kind of Medicine that was recommended without receiving any benefit. I at last thought I would give your medicines a trial, and purchased from Mr. Hollin, Chemist, of this Town, two Boxes of Pills, and two of Ointment, and in three weeks, through them and the blessing of God, I was restored to health and strength, and am now as well able to walk as ever I wa3 in my life. I am well known in this parish, having been sixty-five years in it, with an exception of ten years I served in the 24th Regt. of Foot. (Signed) John Pitt.

EXTRAORDINARY LOCAL CURE OF RHEUMATIC FEVER. Margaret M'Connigan, nineteen years of age, residing at New Town, has been suffering from a violent Rheumatic Fever for upwards of two months, during which peiiod she was under the care of three of the most eminent medical men of Hobart Town, and by them her case was considered hopeless. A friend prevailed upon her parents to try Ilolloway's ' wonderful Medicines, and in the short space of five days a perfect cure was effected. This case can be attested by many respectable people in the neighbourhood.

CURE OF ASTHMA. Extract of a Letter from Mr. Benjaman Mackie, a respectable Quaker, Creenagh, near Lovghall, Ireland. " To Professor Holloway. " Respected Friend, — Thy excellent Pills have effectually cured me of the Asthma which afflicted me for three years to such an extent that I was obliged to walk my room at night ior air, afraid of being suffocated if I went to bed, by cough and phlegm. CURE OF DROPSY IN THE CHEST Extract of a Letter from J. S. Mundy, Esq., Kenning ton, near Oxford. " To Professor Holloway. " Sir, — My Shepherd for some time was afflicted with water on the chest: when I heard of it I immediately advised him to try your Pills, which he did, and Avas perfectly cured, and is now as well as ever he was in his life. In three weeks I was enabled to wa^c about for an hour or two in the day with a stick, and in seven weeks I could go any where without one. lam now, by the blessing of God and your medicines, quite well, and have been attending to my business for more than seven months, without any symptoms of the return of my old complaint. Besides my case of Rheumatic Gout, I have lately had proof that your Pills and Ointment will heal any old wound or ulcer, as a married woman living near me, had had a bad leg for four years, which no one could cure, and I gave her some of your Pills and Ointment, which soundly healed it when nothing else would do it. For your information I had the honour to serve my country for twenty -five years in the first legiment of Life Guards, and was eighteen years a Corporal.
