TENDERS will be received by the Wardens for the Hundred of Auckland, until the 10th September, from parties desirous of supplying materials to be delivered at the junction of the Epsom and Tamaki roads,— for the purpose of a Public Pound, Slaughterhouse and Dwelling-house intended to be built, on a site of ground near the Royal George Inn, and for the erection of the said Buildings. Office of Ordinance, Auckland, August 24th, 1850 NOTICE is hereby given, that Tenders will be received .at this office until noon of the 17th September next, from persons willing to undertake the performance of the following services at the Military Barracks, Auckland, for one year, from the Ist of October, 1850, to the 30th September, 1851, viz. — Washing and Repairing Soldiers' and Hospital Bedding, Sweeping Chimnies with a proper machine, Emptying and Removing Soil from Cesspools and Ashpits. Persons whose tenders may be accepted will be required to give reasonable security for the due performance of their engagements. Every paiticular relative to these services may be obtained by application at the Barrack Office, Fort Brittomart, between the hours of 9 and 3 o'clock, on any day previous to the 1 7th proximo, where also forms of tender can be seen.
