The barque Colonist wan to sail for Sydney, to take in a cargo of coal for the San Francisco market, on the 26th of June. Scr/.uRE or a British Ship.—By the brig Orbet, from I'uget's Sound, Oregon, we learn that the ship dllrinn, of London, has been seized by General Dorr, on the part of the American Government, for smuggling and cutting timber on the United States posse** nions. This vessel, we unumtand, is under charter by the British Government—the timber being for the use of the Nuvy.—Alta California, May 28.
