IN pursuance of instructions received from Her Majesty, by a warrant under the Royal Sign Manual and Signet, bearing dale 14th January, 1850, His Excellency the Governor-in-Chief has been pleased to appoint, by Letters Patent under the public seal of the Islands of New Zealand, Henry Samuel Chapman, Esquire, and Sydney Stephen, Esquire, to be Judges of the Supreme Court of the said Islands. By His Excellency's command, C. A. Dillon, Civil Secretary.
