HOUSE OF LORDS — February 4. THE AFFAIRS OF GREECE.
Lord Stanley asked the Government whe her theaccounts from Greece which were published in the pipers of Saturday ware correct, by which it appeared that there had been threa's of hostilities made by the British authorities in that country, in case of certain demands nut being complied with in the course of twenty-four hours. The Marquis of Lansdowne sa>d the accounts given in the papers were sub tantially correct, but ibat no demand! had been made by the British Government which were not founded on justice. He bad no objections to produce all the papers connected with the casr, by which the H-nue would see that the Government hud taken no measures with regard to Greece which they were not morally and legally justified \n taking. The E«rl of Aberdeen expressed his dissatisfaction at the course which had been taken, particularly wth regard to the rienand for the cession of two is'aads off the coait of Gieece. After a short debate, the subject dropped. Her Majesty's reply to the Address having been read, the House adjourned.
