The Ajax haß made a splendid run of 49 days from San Francisco. On the 19 February, spoke the American whaler Cincinnatti, with 160 barrels sperm oil. She reports the following arrivals, at San Francisco, from Sydney— Duke of Roxburgh, 99 days ; Enchantress, 92 dhys ; and Jfan'a, 95 days. It is probable thst some parties may disappointed in not receiving letters from San Francisco by the Ajate, but owing to her amngements being more complete than ordinary, she lelt on the day advertised for her sailing, contrary to the general expectation of the merchants of the place. — Herald, March 25,
