JGORRIE respectfully intimates that • the Second Quarter of the Session will commence on Monday next the 1 sth inst., Hours of attendance from 10 to 1, and from 2 to 4 o'clock. Branches taught, — English Reading and Grammar, Writing, Arithmetic, Geography, (with the use of Maps and Globes), Mathematics, Latin, Greek &c. N.B. An Evening Class from 7 to 9 o'clock. April 9th 1850.
LOST, ON Friday evening last between Auckland and Epsom, A SMALL RIDING WHIP, silver mounted, with Ivery top. Any person having found the same, on leaving it at the office of this paper, will receive the sum of 5 shillings.

TO RESIDENTS in the Country, intending Abseentees, &c, Mr. Hansard offers his services in the receiving their rents, &c, the payment of such charges as they may direct and authorize, and the transaction of such general business as they may require, pledging himself to an implicit attention to their instructions, and a faithful regard to their interests. For the accommodation of the Proprietors of Land, Houses, &c, Mr. Hansard proposes to keep a Register of all such property for sale or hire ; and, when required, to negociate such sale' or letting in their behalf. He will also keep a Register of Land, Houses, &c, reqnired by intending purchasers, lessees, or hirers. Mr. Hansard's charges for commission in the above-mentioned cases will be moderate— and when practicable, will be subjected to prior arrangement.

HOUSES. TO BE SOLD— An excellent House near Hobson-street. TO BE LET— That exceedingly comfortable and well finished BRICK HOUSE in Albert-street, lately known as Mr. Hardy's residence, consisting of four rooms all well papered — an extra room, and a light dry and commodious cellar. The yard is now completely inclosed, and there is a good well of water on the premises. TO BE LET— In Hobson-street, a very comfortable Four Roomed HOUSE. — Rent very moderate. TO BE LET— A delightfully situated and very convenient Cottage Residence, with large Garden, Orchard, Paddock, &c.
