Commissariat Office, Auckland, March 5, 1850. TENDERS will be received at this Office, until noon of Monday the 18th instant, for furnishing such quantities of STRAW as may be required by the Barrack Department, at Auckland, during the 12 calendar Months, ending 31st March, 1851. The Straw to be delivered at such times and places, and in such quantities as may be directed by the Barrack Master to whose approval the same is to be subject ; and the Contractor will be required to give security for the due performance of his engagement. Payment to be made by an Ordnance Draft on the Commissariat Chest. Philip Turner, Assistant Commissary General.
I^HE WARDENS of the Hundred of • Howick, will receive Tenders from Persons desirous to act as RANGER, in the Howick Hundred, stating the conditions under which they will undertake the duties. Sealed Tenders, addressed to the Wardens, to be left at the Office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, or with any of the Wardens, on or before the 27th of March, 1850.
