HpENDEBS will be received at this Office, JL until noon of Wednesday, the 13th instant, for the conveyance of the following articles, in such quantities and at such times as may be required, from the beach at Howick, to the sites of the Pensioners' Cottages, or to any other place within the village, viz, .—. — Timber, at per 100 feet. Shingles, at per 1000. Bricks, at per 1000. Lime, Sand, &c, at per bushel. The Straw to be delivered at such times and places, and in such quantities as may be directed by the Barrack Master to whose approval the same is to be subject ; and the Contractor Avill be required to give security for the due peiformance of his engagement.
