Commissariat Office, Auckland, March 5, 1850. nPENDEBS will be received at this Office, JL until noon of Wednesday, the 13th instant, for the conveyance of the following articles, in such quantities and at such times as may be required, from the beach at Howick, to the sites of the Pensioners' Cottages, or to any other place within the village, viz. . — Timber, at per 100 feet. — Shingles, at per 1000. Briclcs, at per 1000. Lime, Sand, &c, at per hushel. Persons tendering are requested to observe that the Contractor will be required to give proper security for the fulfilment of his engagement. The Straw to be delivered at such times and places, and in such quantities as may be directed by the Barrack Master to whose approval the same is to be subject ; and the Contractor will be required to give security for the due performance of his engagement.
