Gli ENBURN. THE Proprietor of the above Nursery GARDEN and ORCHARD, proposes to dispose of the Property, with the five roomed COTTAGE thereon erected, by Lottery in 100 Tickets at £5 each. The piize to be drawn for seven days after the Subscription List shall be filled' Up. Tiie Garden and Orchard have taken above six years to bring into cultivation, and no expense or trouble has been spared to stock them with the rarest and choicest Flowers, Shrubs, and Fruit Trees. The House is beautifully situated in the Garden, and affords one of the finest views in the whole district of Auckland. The premises (known as Graham's Garden) are only about twenty minute's walk from Auckland, have a water frontage to the Waitemate on a beautiful Bay, and are bounded on one side by a never failing stream of pure water fit for supplying shipping. They contain, with the yard and the avenue (which is planted with filbert and other trees,) about 5^ acres within the fences, but reckoning to high water mark and to the creek, about six. There is a beautiful well of water in the centre of the Garden, and the whole is in first rate condition, having been constantly worked by the Proprietor himself, who is a practical Horticulturalist. The plan of the premises, conditions, list of subscriptions, &c, are lying at Mr. Hardington's Exchange Hotel, who will afford any information required. Title a Grant from the Crown. The Proprietor will provide the conveyance ! to the party obtaining the prize.
NOTICE. AUCKLAND MECHANICS' INSTITUTE. A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING of £*- the Members of this Institution will be held on Monday evening next, at eight o'clock precisely, for the purpose of receiving the Report of the Committee on the Laws. Cards will be furnished by the Hon. Secretary to all parties who have been admitted Members, on payment of their entrance fee and first quarter's subscription ; and the Committee will meet for the admission of new members and other business, at 7 o'clock on the above 'named evening.
