Smith, Miss M'Conochie, Mr. Blaclc, Mr. and Mrs. Holmes and child and Daniel Jones. W. S. Grahame, agent. Dec H-— Vivid, schooner, from Mongauui.

By the anival sf the schooner Vivid, from Mongunui, we have inteliigance from a correspondent there, who informs us that the following vessels were at anchor in that harbour on the 23rd Dec. lait. George, ship, Marsden, master, 6 months out, 200 barrels ; JeaneeCe, ship, Best, master, 16 months out, 1 ,400 barreli ; Margaret, ship, Falts, master, 17 months out, 2,600 barrels ; and the ship Chandler Ptiee, Taber, mastfr, 17 months out, with 2,600 barrels. And the schooners Whim, Phantom, WaterwUch> Russel, and Milford. On the departure of the Vivid, a larse ship was entering tbe port. The John Wesley arrived on Saturday, after a pas. sage of nine dajs from Sydney, havng tailed from thkt port on the 20th ultimo. During the paisige, about ten o'clock at night, one of the bo>s fell overboard from the foietop, while the vessel was running at niue knots ; but by the alacrity and presence of mind of Captain Buck. a. boat was quickly lowered and the b^y picked up a Ion; way astern of the vessel. — The William <J* James, schooner, and the barque Symmetry were loading for Auckland when the Wesley left. — The Moa was t> sail on ihe 26th ult., and may be expected on Monday or Tuesday next ; she is new commanded by Ciptam Norris.— The barque Reaper has besn chartered by Dr. Forbes, to proceed to Crilt-for-iia, and will call at Auckland on her way,— H.M.B. Swift arrived at Sydney f rnm Hobart Town on the Ist and sailed analu for New Zealand on the Bth D j c. The Josephine, barque, Captain Smith, arrived at Kawau on Saturday evening, after a pasfaaga of 22 days from SyJaty; she encountered strong easterly weather the whole wiy, so much so that the was unable to iteer hei true course for tyro hours throughout. She passed the Susan at 4 o'clock on Friday morning, off Poor Kui fe ht-> ; and on Saturday morning observed a large ship running for False Bay. The Josephine has bes ) laken up for California.

The New Brig "Mo a."— The "Mot" arrived on tTliursday tften o n from Amkland where she has been built by Mr. H. Nicol, lor Messrs. Wright an! Grahame. Although we have so many colonial vest Is sailing out of the harhour, the " Mou" decidedly ranks A 1 , both with regard to sightliness and roomy accom* laudations. Captain Jaduon states that she is one of the smartest vessels hs ever slept on board of, and tlut she has behaved admirably in this her first trip. She is intended expressly for the trade between this and Auckland ; is very sul stantial'y built, on a) scale to carry a large cargo for her tonnage ; and no ex pense has bfen spared to render the accommodations for passengers commodious. — Sydney Herald, Dec. 8. The ship St. Michael, 500 tons, was advertised in the Times, to sail from London for Auckland and Wellington on the lit September ; and the Moultan from the Clyde, for the New Zealand Company's settlements on the 15th September. Arrivals at Sydney from England.—November 30, Ralph Bemai, barque, Captain M'Laren, from the Downs the 23rd June. December 2, St. George, ship, from London the 21st and the Isle of Wight the 24th of August. Bth, Jobnstone, barque, from the Downs the 18th August. 10th, Sarah, barque, from Plymouth the 12th Aigus*, with 271 immigrants. — Aztec, barque, from the Djirns the 23rd July. 17th, Success, ship, from Plymouth Ist August and Hobart Town the 9ih December, with 182 Government Immigrants—biing wives and families of men transported to New South Wales.
