r BEEHIVE. SELLING OFF! Great Sacrifice. BLACKMAN & PATON announce to the Public that as they intend relinquishing the business in a few weeks, they have determined to clear out the whole of their large Stock at less than the cost price.

MUS. WOOLLEY in presenting her respects to her many kind friends, has the pleasure to announce that the Midsummer Vacation of her Establishment will commence on Wednesday next, the 19th instant, when she has considerable gratification in anticipating that the progress made in their various studies by her Pupils, will afford pleasure and satisfaction to their Parents and Guardians. PROSPECT HOUSE ESTABLISHMENT, Hobson Street. Mrs. Woolley has much pleasure in informing her Friends and the public of Auckland, and its vicinity, generally, that she has been able to complete arrangements, by which she will be able in future to conduct her Establish ment on a scale more commensurate with that convenience and efficiency which she has ever desired, but hitherto been unable to accomplish. To this end she has taken this commodious and delightfully situated house, which from its position in a most healthy, and at the same time most convenient, part of the town, its interior arrangements, (amongst which she may mention the erection of a large room for the special purpose of a School room) — together with the grounds aUached, is most admirably circumstanced for the accommodation of yeaily and weekly Boarders. She therefore hopes she will have the pleasure again to recommence duties on Monday, the 15th January, at her New Establishment, with the usual number of Pupils, and the continued support of her numerous friends, for which she begs to return her most grateful acknowledgments.

TO FARMERS, CATTLEOWNERS, AND OTHERS. SERIOUS disappointments having frequently arisen to persons having small j number of Cattle for Sale, by reason of their j not proving (in consequence of being few in number) sufficently attractive to induce buyers to attend such Sales, it is thought desirable for the interests of the public, that some fixed day or days in each month should be had for the Sale of Cattle, Farming Stock, Implements of Husbandry, &c. At such Sales buyers , would find it desirable to attend, and remu- i nerating prioes would be obtained for Stock brought to the hammer. HART & SON will, therefore, hold a Sale on the Ist and 3rd Saturday in each month, in the yard of the Grey-hound Inn, Queen -St., for the disposal by Auction of Horned Cattle, Sheep, Farming Stock, Implements of Husbandry, and Real Estate. Due notice will be given of the first Sale which will take place this month. Persons intending to avail themselves of these Sales, are requested to communicate with the Auctioneers, at their Rooms. HORSES. HART & SON will hold a Sale, at the Exchange Livery and Commission Stables, Shortland-street, for the disposal of Horses by Auction on the first and third Monday in each Month. Horses intended for Sale, will be stabled at a reduced rate, and every care taken of them. It is scarcely necessary for the Auctioneers to point out to the buyer the important advantages which such Sales offer, and the great convenience of being able at all times to ascertain what Horse Stock is in the market for disposal —while, at the same time, it enables the seller to obtain a fair price for his Horses. Due notice will be given of the first sale, which will take plaoe shortly. Persons having Horses for Sale, are requested to communicate with the Auctioneers, at their Rooms, wheie a Register will also be kept of Horses intended for sale by private contract.
