TENDERS will be leceived at this Office, uniil noon on Tuesday, the 18th instant, for the supply of the undermentioned articles, for the service of the Colonial Hospital, during the six months commencing on the Ist of January, 1850. The articles to he delivered at the Hospital, at the expense of the contractor, and to be subject to the approval of the Colonial Surgeon as to quality. Fresh Beef or Mutton Pork Fine Bread Potatoes Tea and Sugar Oatmeal Arrowroot V at per lb. Sago Rice Salt Soap Mixed Vegetables Dip Candles J , Brandy, Port Wine, \ at per and Porter J two gallons. Milk and Vinegar, at per quart. Oil . . at per gallon. Straw, at per ton of 2240 lbs. Security will be required for the due performance of the contract, and the tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties proposed as sureties. TENDERS in duplicate will be received at this office until noon on Tuesday, 18th inst., from parties who may be willing to enter into a contract for the Colonial Service at Auckland, to furnish supplies of Provisions and other Necessaries to the undermentioned departments, during the ensuing six months, commencing Ist January, 1850. Gaol — Auckland. Ration No. 1 , at per Ration. " No. 2, " " No. 3, " Police Lock-up — Auckland. At per ration. Information respecting the established rations for the several departments may be obtained at this office. Security will be required for the due performance of the contract, and the Tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties who may be proposed as Sureties. RATIONS TO DESTITUTE PERSONS. Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, Dec. 3rd, 1849. HPENDERS will be received at this office, until noon on Tuesday, the 1 8th instant, for the supply of Rations to Paupers on the following scale, under the direction of the Immigration Agent, during the six months commencing Ist January, 1850. Scale for each ration :—: — 8 oz. Pork 24 oz. Bread \\ oz. Sugar j% oz. Tea 8 oz. Potatoes. Security will he required for the due performance of the contract, and the tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties proposed as sureties. Tenders to be in duplicate, sealed, and endorsed " Tender for Rations to Destitute Persons." By His Excellency's command, Andrew Sinclair, Colonial Secretary.
