HENRY HARDINGTON, ROYAL EXCHANGE HOTEL, FOR FAMILIES' AND GENTLEJIEN, LIVERY & COMMISSION STABLES. HENRY HARDINGTON has the honor to inform his friends and the public that he has just completed the erection of entirely new and most commodious stables, equal for light and ventilation to any hitherto erected in Auckland, which are under the direction of an able and experienced manager. He now, therefore, feels warranted in soliciting their patronage in full confidence of his ability |to afford every satisfaction to those entrusting their Horses to' him, whether to stand at Livery or Bait. He would take the opportunity thus afforded to notify that he keeps for Hire a number of excellent Saddle and Gig Horses, also a neat Dog Cart. Sept. 3, 1849.

NOTICE is hereby given, that Tenders will be received at this Office until noon of the 25th September next, from peisons willing to undertake the performance of the following Services at the Military Barracks, Auckland, for one year, from the Ist October, 1849, to the 30th September, 1850. viz. — ■ Washing and Repairing Soldiers' and Hospital Bedding, Sweeping Chimnies, Emptying and Removing Soil from Cesspools and Ashpits. Persons whose tenders may be accepted, will be required to give reasonable security for the due performance of their engagements. Every particular relative to these services may be obtained by application at the Barrack Office, Fort Brittomart, between the hours of 9 and 3 o'clock, on any day previous to tho 25th proximo ; where also forms of tender can be seen.
