Of those instructed by her in Y. D. Land, were members of the families of Major Schaw, Captains Booth, Barnes, &c, Messrs. Robertson, Palmer, Armytage, Gunning, Goldie, &c, Magistrates. TO PARENTS, SOLICITORS, AND OTHERS.
A GENTLEMAN, educated at Eton and •*••*■ King's College, Cambridge, being wholly disengaged, would be glad to occupy his time in giving private instruction. A thorough course of English education would be imparted, the English and Scotch systems of Book-keeping, and the classics and mathematics to the highest branches. With pupils sufficiently advanced he would read for an hour or two daily, conformably with the course pursued at Cambridge in preparing for the several gradations of matriculation, scholarship, responsion, and degree examination. Or, having been in extensive practice for 12 years as a Solicitor, and being thoroughly versed in the principles and practice of conveyancing, and in the entire routine of an Attorney's office, the advertiser would be happy to enter into an engagement with a member of the profession requiring steady and efficient aid. Cards of address are left at the Office of this Paper.
