NATHAN Will sell by Public Competition, THIS DAY, August 21 — THE FINE CLIPPER SCHOONER " JOSEPH CRIPPS," 100 tons burthen, built in 1840-1, expressly for the Van Diemen's Land Company, who spared no expense upon her. She has lately been hove down at Hobart Town, her Hull Equipments, &c, thoroughly overhauled. She is ready for sea, being well found, carries a dry cargo, is a fine weatherly vessel, and allowed to be one of the fastest out of Y. D. Lapd. For further particulars of Stores, &c, apply to the Auctioneer, who has certificates of her qualities and good condition from the two Insurance Offices of Hobart Town, of 12th Jan. 1849. She has discharged her Cargo and is now ready as she lies for inspection. also — ?A First-Rate WHALE BOAT. Sale to take place at one o'clock precisely.

Has received Instructions to Sell by Public Auction, Tuesday next, 28th instant — THE HULL of the American WHALE SHIP " HOPE." about 400 tons, as she now lies at Taboo Point, Bay of Islands; — she is copper and composition fastened throughout, strongly built, has a new keel and false keel, and lies in a safe and suitable position either for removal for repairs or breaking up — and is we]l made fast, head and stern to the shore. After which — A large quantity of Gear, Spars, Blocks, Stores, 2 Cables and 2 Anchors in excellent condition. Terms at the Time of Sale.
