THE Public are cautioned hereby against negotiating or receiving in any way, a Promissory note, bearing date, the 24th] day of July, 1849, made by the Undersigned in favor of Benjamin Smith, of Auckland, Livery Stable Keeper, and made payable at the Union Bank of Australia, Auckland, New Zealand, the said Benjamin Smith having failed to give any consideration for the said Promissory Note.
