20th July, 1849. HIS Excellency the Governor-in-Chief directs it to be notified that the General Legislative Council of New Zealand will meet for the despatch of business at Auckland, on Wednesday, the Ist August next, at 3 o'cloc . J. COATES, Clerk of Council.
