RAFFLE.

HHHREE Magnificent OIL PAINTINGS, JL by well known Masters, will be Raffled for at Mr. Hardington's Hotel, in the course of the ensuing week. There will be three Prizes to be thrown for in the following manner, viz.: The highest thrower will be entitled to his choice of one of the three pictures ; the second highest to his choice of one of the other two ; and the third highest to the remaining one. Tickets — £1 Is.

The Pictures are at present on view at the Exchange Hotel.

TO THE INHABITANTS OF THE BAY OF ISLANDS AND ITS VICINITY' AND TO COASTING TRADERS.

FROM and after the 10th day of May next, the stock of Goods at present in the Victoria Store, will be disposed of in quantities of not less than £10, and in assorted parcels at a reduction of 30 per cent, upon the regular prices which are marked upon the respective articles. The stock consists of a general assortment or Drapery, Ironmongery, and Goods suitable fof trade. Victoria, April 18th, 1849.
