RATIONS TO DESTITUTE PERSONS.
Colonial Secretary's Office, Auckland, 11th June, 1849. I'ENDERS will be received at this office until noon on Monday, the 25th inst., for the supply of Rations to Paupers on the following scale, under the direction of the Immigration Agent, during the six months commencing Ist July, 1849. Scale for each Ration :—: — 8 oz. Pork 24 oz. Bread H oz. Sugar | oz. Tea 8 oz. Potatoes Security will be required for the due performance of the contract, and the tenders should be accompanied by a notification of the consent of the parties proposed as sureties. Tenders to be in duplicate, sealed, and endorsed " Tender for Rations to Destitute Persons." By His Excellency's command, Anhrew Sinclair, Colonial Secretary,
