ARRIVALS. M»y 13- Victoria, GoTernment brig, Captain' Burgess from Wellington.

DEPAKTtRE. May 13. Star of China, schooner, 10l tons, Dowker, master, for Sydney, with lundries. PassengersMr, and Mrt. Merchant, and five children, Mr. Rogers, Mr. Thornton, and H.R. Cretnay. Master, Agent.

H.M. Colonial brig Victoria arrived on Sunday last from Port Nicholion, from whence she failed on Sunday the 6th instant. She arrived at Wellington from Auckland on th» 20th April, and proceeded on the following day to Nelson with hit Honour Mr. Justice Chapman. H.M.S. Fly was at Nelson undergoing temporary repairs previous to her departure for Sydney, where ihe is to be placed on the Slip to be thoroughly overhauled. She had iust .in«d considerable demage in her bottom while at Mercury Bay, having had her false keel knocked away, her wood ends started, besides other injuries, so that she was making fifteen iuches of water every four hours. The following vessels had arrived at Wellington the day before the Victoria sailed, American ship Augustine, from Port Phillip ; he barque London, from Sydney, with cattle, and the bngantiue Sister., from HobartTowii. The Augustine and Siiteri were to come on to Auckland. Intelligence ha« been received in town announcing tbe wreck of the schooner Rainbow, on Wanganui B*r. All lives, including & detachment of 35 men of the 65th Feet., were fortunately saved, and we believe the greatest part of the cargo.— Wellington Independent, April 28. A new schooner of about sixty tons arrived on Monday evening for the purpose of hemi; registered at this Dort She was built at M»na by Messn. F.azer and pTomUes to be a valuable addition to the re.seli employed in the coasting trade.— Spectator, Apnl 11.
