The brig Maukin sailed from Sydney on the 11th, but anchored in Watson's Bar that night, and put to sea on the mornin? of the 12 h December. On the 15th, in Int. 35 ° , long. 157 ° 30', she pased three ihipi, whalers, cruising On the 20th, in 31° 40' lat., long. 167° 52', passed a ichooner bound to the weitward (supposed to be the Deborab). On the 21st, in lat. 35° 26\ long. 168 ° 38', pasted a ship bound to the eastward. On the 23rd, between the North Cape and Three Kings, passed a ship bound to the eastward ; and on the 24th, off the North Cape, slip passed a ichooner standing to northwest The ship Waterloo, from London Sept. 2, had arrived at Sydney the morning the Maukin sailed. The Louiia, P. 0. Packet for August, nor the Alert, for September, had not arrived, but wer« both expected daily. The Nimrod is advertised to sail this dey for Sydney.
