Cure of Thirty five Ulcers. " Moloug, Sept. 25, 1848. " To Mr. J. K. Hpyilon, *• Sir, — 1 «>we a debt of gratitude to Professor Ilolloway for my almost miraculous cure, after seven veins of mttering, caused by exposure to wet and cold, mid the undue use of Mercurial Medicines. When I fiM commenced to use the Pills and Ointment, I had thirty-five ulcers on my body, and a constant head ache, and pains all over me. My throat had got to affected that I wa< obliged at la6t to live entirely on gruel. Having spent upwards of two lrordred pounds in mediciue and medical advice to no purpose, cxci pt that of making me worse, I tried Ilollowny's Pills hdil Ointment, by means of which, and the ble*sUig of God, I inn now in the enjoyment ol excellent hetil.h. My feelings for others similarly circumstanced, as well as my gratitude to Mr. Holloway, compel me to send you Urn communication. " I am, Sir, ""Your obedient servant, *' Jeremiah Rkhd. Surprising Cure of Rheumatism. 11 Little Bally Bong, Port Phillip Road, "Januaiy 10. 1848. " I hereby certify, that my wife, Lydia Rochlord, VMS affected vrith Rheumatism in the head for fifteen months, and although attended by good mfdical practitioners, she got no relief. It also affected the palate of her mouth, so much so that t-hc could not articulate her words properly. I was advised to try Holloway's Pills and Ointment, which I did administer to her, and the continued to vie them for two months. I can now say they have restoicd her to her usual state of good health ; and for the bake of humanity I now make this public. (Signed) " James Rociu'ord."

Cures in South Australia

The following extraordinary Cures are authenticated by Mr: John Stephens, of Adelaide, the respectable proprietor of the " Adelaide Obseiver and South Australian Register," and have been published in hii papers : — "GeorgejMuncton, a letter in the bush, who had been suffering for four months with a swollen leg, and in such pain as to deprive him of sleep, was recommended to try Holloway'i Pills, at the same time using the ointment, as directed. In the course of a fortnight the cure was so far effected as to permit him. on the 7th October, to walk into Adelaide without pain, a distance of twenty miles, to give us this statement for the information and benefit of his tellovvcrenturei. "November 2nd, 1847."

" Mrs. Elizabeth Barker, of Willunßa, who had been nearly thirty years a nufferer, from an ulcemtd leg, produced by a blow, was induced tj try Holloway's ointment in conjunction with hit pills. I have, for tlio last six months, been afflicted with the liver complaint, and at last w, b com pelled to take to my bed in a very low state, so bad that I did not think I would ever ri^e in health again. After trying medical a d, and finding no relief, I wae advised by Mr. William Bursill to try the medicine aforenamed, which I did, and after one or two doses of Holloway's Pills, and rubbing in the ointment, I found great relef; and by strictly following the rules l<ml down by Mr. Hollowly, and using his pills and ointment for six wetks, I find myself in the enjoyment of as good health as ever I possessed in my life The truth of this statement is incontestable, as there is not one of uiy neighbours but could testify the lame, 11 1 lemain, &c, " UOBERT EkKINSt " Blacksmith, •' Campbelltown."
