VICTORIA HOTEL. npilE Undersigned begs most respectfully to inform his Friends — the Public in general, and the occasional Visitants to Auckland, that after a very heavy outlay, he has completed tlie extensive alterations AND IMPROVEMENTS of this Hotel, and he is now able confidently to assure those who may favor him with their patronage, that he is prepared to offer them all the comforts and convenience of a 1 home. THE BED ROOMS I have been entirely refurnished, and I are replete with every necessary that can be wished for. THE DINING & SITTING ROOMS have been also refurnished, and offer the advantage of privacy should it be required. THE TABLE D'HOTE is kept abundantly supplied with every rarity the market affords, prepared for the Table by a firstrate Cook. THE BILLIARD ROOM has been re-modelled — the Table entirely put to rights, and new clothed, and the room well lighted with powerful limps. THE STABLE is under charge of an experienced Ostler, and every care is taken that the Horses are well and properly fed upon the best Hay and Corn. THE BAR, enlarged and fitted up upon the London principle, hastwogood and well furnished Rooms attached to it, in which the Bushman will find his comfort well attended to. THE WINES AND SPIRITS, as also the Malt Liquors, and other supplies, have been carefully selected, regardless of price, from the best Houses and may be safely pronounced unequalled in New Zealand. TO MASTERS OF VESSELS and all parties connected with the Shipping, this Hotel possesses the advantage of being on the waterside, (the Bed-rooms commanding a full view of the Harbour) and bein« the Waterman s House of Call, E>6ats can readily be obtained at all hours. In short, if first rate quality of supplies — prompt attention to orders Civility — Cleanliness — and moderate charges will ensure success, the Undersigned is determined to obtain it. S. 11. Levey.
