HOLLOWAY'S PILLS AND OINTMENT. THE GREATES~CURES OF AN? MEDICINE IN THE GLOBE. Cure of Thirty five Ulcers. " Moloug, Sept. 2.7, 1848. " To Mr. .T. K. Heydon. •• Sir,— l owe a debt of gratitude to Professor Holloway for my almost miraculous cure, after seven years of suffering, caused by exposure to wet and cold, Hnd the undue use of Mercurial Medicines. When I fir-t commenced to use the Pills and Ointment, I had thirty-five ulcers on my body, and a constant head ache, and pains all over me. My throat had got 10 affected that I wa* obliged at laßt to live entirely on gruel. Having spent upwards of two hurdred pounds in mediciue and medical advice to no putpoce, except that of making me worse, I tried Holloway's Pills and Ointment, by means of which, and the blefsiug of God, lam now in the enjoyment of excellent heal h. My feelings for others similarly circumstanced, as well as my gratitude to Mr. Holloway, compel me to send you this communication. " I am, Sir, " Your obedient servant, " Jeremiah Rbed. " P.S.-»-I am at present in the employment of Mcisn. S)ers, Brothers, Meadows, near Wellington."
Surprising Cure of Rheumatism. "Little Bally Bong, Port Phillip Road, "January 16. 1848. " I hereby certify, that my wife, Lydia Rochford, was affected with Rheumatism in the head for fifteen months, and although attended by good mr dical prac titioners, she got no relief. It also affected the palate of her mouth, so much so that she could not articulate her words properly. I was advised to try Holloway's Pills and Oin'ment, which I did administer to her, and she continued to use them for two months. I can now gay they have restoied her to her usual state of good health ; and for the sake of humanity I now make this public. (Signed) " James Kochi-ord." Cures in South Australia The following extraordinary Cures are authenticated by Mr: John Stephens, of Adelaide, the respectable proprietor of the " Adelaide Obsever and South Australian Register," and have been publiihed in hit papers :— "GeorgejMuncton, a set'ler in the bmh. who had been suffering for four month*' with a swollen leg, and in 6uch pain as to deprive him of sleep, was recommended to try Holloway'i Pills, at the same time using the ointment, as direc'ed. In the course of a fortnight the cure wai 10 far effected as to permit him. on the 7th October, to walk into Adelaide without pain, a distance of twenty miles, to give us this statement for the information and benefit of his fellowcreatures. " November 2nd, 1847." " Mrs. Elizabeth Harker, of Willunga, who had been nearly thirty yeais a sufferer, from an ulcerati d leg, produced by a blow, wns induced to try Holloway's ointment in conjunction with his pills. A small box of each was purchased, and before the whole was used the leg was perfectly healed, tearing tcarcely any trace of a wound, which had defied the skill of several practitioners both in England and this country. Another Surprising Cure ! "Campbelltown, April 11, 1848. " To Mr. Heydon. " Sir,— l feel it a duty incumbent on me, to let the community at large know the wonderful cure that has been performed on me by the effect of Holloway'i medicine. I have, for the last six months, been afflicted with the liver complaint, and at last w.<s compelled to take to my bed in a very low state, so bad that I did not think I would ever rise in health aeain. After trying medical, aid, and finding no relief, I wai advised by Mr. William Buraill to try the medicine aforenamed, which I did, and after one or two do«es of Holloway's Pills, and rubbing in the ointment, I found great relef ; and by strictly following the rules laid down by Mr. Holloway, and using his pills and ointment for six weeks, I find myself in the enjoyment of; as good health as ever I possessed in my life. The truth of this statement is incontestable, as there is not one of my neighbours but could testify the game. " I remain, &c, " Robert Elkins, " Blacksmith, " Campbelltown."
