THAT'very matter of fact publication tbe Hue nvd Cry, thus sketches the personal appearance of th<3 iebel generals and their aides-de-camp. The likenesses of some, it must be confessed, are by no means flattering, although upon the whole they are toleiably truthiul :— " William Smith O'Brien.— No occupntion. 45 years of age, 6 feet in height, sandy hair, daik eyes, sallow long face, has a sneering smile constantly on bit face, full whisken, sandy, a little gray ; well bet man, wnlks erect, dresses well. " Thomas Fraucis Meagher. — No occupation, C 5 years of age, 5 feet, 9 inches, dark, nearly black hair, light blue eyes, pale face, high cheek botieß, pmiliai expression about the eyes, cocked nose, no whiskers ; ■well dressed. •< John B. Dillon, barrister, 32 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches in height, dark hair, dark eyes, thin sallow face, rather thin black whiikers ; dressed respectable ; lias biliout look. " Michael Dohcny, barrister, 40 yean of age, 5 feet 8 inches in height, sandy hair, grey eyes, coarse red face like a man given to drink, high cheek bones, wants several of hit teeth, very vulgar appearance, peculiar coarse unpleasant voice ; dress respectable } small short red whiskers. " Michael Crean, shopman at a shocsliop, 35 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches, fair or sandy hair, grey eyes, full lace, light whiskers, high forehead ; well set pereon ; dress, dark shooting frock or grey tweed, and grey tweed trows**!'!. •• Francis Morgan, solicitor, 43 years of age, 5 fact 8 inches in height, very dark hair, dark eyes, sallow, broad face, nose a little cocked, the upper lip turns out when speaking, rather stout, smart gait, black whiskers. " Patrick James Smith, studying for (he bar, 20 years of age. 5 feet 9 inches in height, fair hair, dark eyes, fair delicate (ace, and of weak appearance, long back, weak in his walk, small whiskers ; clothing in different. ♦• John Hetherington Drumm, medical student, 20 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches in height, very black and curly hair, black eyei, pale delicate fuce, rather than person, delicate appearance, no whiskers, small face and nose ; dressed respectably. " Thomao DA rcy M'Gee connected with the Nation newspaper, 23 years of age, 5 feet 3 inches in height, black hair, dark face, delicate, pale, thin man, dresses geneially black shooting coat, plaid trousers, light vest. « Joseph Brenan, sub-editor of the Felon newspaper, 22 years of age, 5 feet 6 incneiin height, dark hair, dark eyes, pale sallow face, very stout round shoulders, Coik accent, no whiskers, hair on the upper lip, soft licMy fflce ; rather respectably dresoed, a lihle reduced. " Thomas Devin Riley, sub -editor of the Felon rewspiper, 24 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches in height, Eiiiuly coarse hair, grey eyei, round freckled face, head remaiUv broad at the top, broad shouldeis; well get ; dresses well. " John Cantwell, shopman at a grocer's, 35 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches in height, landy hair, gray eyes, fair face, good looking, short whiskeis, light, rather slight person ; dresses genteel ; supposed a native of Dublin. «' Stephen J. Meaney, sub editor of Irish Tribune newspaper, 26 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches in height, dark hair, full blue eyes, dark face, small whiskers going under the chin, smart appearance, was a constable of C Division of police, discharged for duty habits, stout person ; generally dressed in black. " Richard O'Gorman, jun., barrister, SO years of sge, 5 feet 11 inches in height, very dark hair, dark eyes, thin long face, large dark whiskers, well made h\u\ active, walks upright ; dress, black frock tout, tweed trousern.
