Thu Uolfant Association have issued a long address " to ilic IVotCstiuts of Ulster," which thus commences :— " Fellow-countrymen .uul Brother Protestants,— Influenced by a debire to promote our countiy's prosperity, we line felt it to be out duty, after long and anxious consideration, to unite together, for tlie purpose of labouring to procure, u native Parliimenl. As the best mean* of gaining thin object, we have founded a society, to bo composed c\c uiively of Piotesuuti, imdci the title of 'The Bdlast Protestant Repent Association ;' find, as we have no silfi Ji inteiests to promot'', we tinsl tint you will give us a Lieuring while we lay bolor e you our principles. If we speiilc not tie tiulh, have nothing to shy to us ; but if you feel that our ailments are sound and conclusive, we solicit your support- " Pi rj) ( — O^r abject M to j»ain a domestic legislature.
