The Louisa has been only ten days on the passage from Sy.lney. The Mau kin arrived thereon the 29th September, after a voyage of fourteen days, during which she experienced a series of henvy gales from west to south west. She was laid up for repairs, and would not resume her voyage to Auckland tor a *eek or two. The Achilles, Post Office Packet, had tailed from Deal for Sydney on the 4th June, but had uot arrived when the L-uisa sailed. The Waterloo, a ship of K'OO toni bui then, was laid on at London at the Mail Packet ior July, and was to sail for Sydney about the 4th. The Bernici,-, HIS tons, Arnold, master, was to sail from London foi N.w 7. ud, on the 3d July. Tbe Emma, which ainved vesterd.iy, sailed from Newcastle on the Bth inst., and h<id a tavourable iun down of twtlve days. Her loss oi" caitle hat been but trifling, and ihe stork that ilie has brought into harbour are in fine condition. She took on board 271) head of well selected cattle, out of which she has lost 40 ; 22 I'Orses and mares weie shipped, all of which has bee i brought sale. She sailed from Newcastle on the llth inst., with a cargo of 48 head of heavy fat cattle, and 200 | sheep, with which, we i.r sorry to report, she has been 'very uiifoitunate, lihv n»; lost 40 hend of her cattle and 100 sheep 'IV ciulr were in excellent condition when slipped, hut refund their food throughout the voyage, and died off gradiuMy,— the few that ►etuain laving only taken to tlnr lodder within the last few days. The Cornelia after a tedious voyage of fourteen days fmm Port Nid olson arrived, on Sunday evening ]ast. The following uotics we copy from the Welling ton Independent •■ — Barooe "CoRN-nuA."— The ahive vessel proceeds to Auckland todischaige her London cargo, this day, and will return to Pott Nicholson in the course of live or six weeks. The Raymond has been taken off the berth, and the Cornelia is consequently the only opjiortunity olfeiing to meichant&to torward freight to E 'gland. This vessel will meet with quick despatch, her agents having made every arrangement so as to prevent delay. The Cornelia is a strongly built well, iound ship, and her capt.nu has secured the name ot u canlul and considerate commander.
