Justice Credulous (an old humbug) Mr. Marlow Lieutenant O'Connor (a recruiting officer, up to a dodge or two), Mr. Turner. Doctor Rosy (an enthusiastic son of Galen), Mr. Merriman. Serjeant Trounce, (a recruiting Serjeant, and, as usual, not addicted to telling the truth), Mr. Pitt. Corporal Flint (as great a rascal, but a stripe lower in talent), Mr. Brathwaite. Mrs. Bridget Credulous (an obstinate old woman), Mr. Ray. Laurette (an equally obstinate young woman), Mrs. Ray. Soldiers, Countrymen, &c, &c.
