NOTICE is hereby given, that Tenders will be received at this Office, until noon of the 25th September next, from persons willing to undertake the performance of the following Services at the Military Barracks, Auckland, for one year, from the Ist October, 1848, to the 30lh September, 1849. viz. — Washing and Repairing Soldiers' and Hospital Bedding, Sweeping Chimnies. Emptying and Removing Soil from Cesspools and Ashpits. Persons whose tenders may be accepted will be required to give reasonable security for the due performance of their engagements. Every particular relative to these services may be obtained by application at the Barrack Office, Fort Brittomart, between the hours of 9 and 3 o'clock, on any day previous to the 25th proximo ; where also forms of tender can be seen.
