LOST, a SCOTCH TERRIER, cropped ears, color — Brown and Grey, with short legs. Whoever will deliver the dog to Ensign Wynyard's servant, or at the Office of the New Zealander, will receive the above ieward.
ANY Party who may have left articles of Jewellery for repair or otherwise, with J. H. Watt, can receive them upon application to Mr. E. Meurant. Auckland, August 1 , 1 848.

FIFTEEN SHILLINGS REWARD.
MISLAID, during the past week, a Black Handled Riding Whip, Silver mounted, as also, — a Malacca Cane, Silver mounted, with a Dolphin crest. Any person bringing the same to the New Zealander office, or to the Resident Magistrate's Court, will receive Ten shillings for the former, and Five shillings for the latter. Auckland, Aug. 4th, 1848.
