The preserves arc made by a new and improved process, whereby they retain their flavour perfectly, arc entirely free from the laint taste peculiar to pieserves made on the old system. M. Joseph begs to submit the following testimonials and certificates as a guarantee to the public of the superior qualities of his preseivcd provisions, and also to caution purchasers against worthless imitations; Sold wholesale at the Campeidown Preserved Fresh Provision Manufartoiy, and at 3!)0 George-street, in heimetically sealed canisters,of six and four pounds, by tile ton 0(1. per lb., one penny extra charged for two and tluee pound canisters. Cohen and Son ; Davy ; Staddon, Confectioner ; Lane and Co., Ship Chandlers, George-street ; in six and four pound canisters, 7d. pdjfclb. ; two and three pound canisters, Bd. This is to certify that soups prepared by Mr. Joseph of Sydney, were tiied on board H. M. Ship Rattlesnake, on her previous trip, and found to be very good in quality, and well adapted for long voyages. I have, in consequence purchased of him five thousand pounds for the use of the crews of H. M. S. Rattlesnake and Bramble, during the purposed voyage to Torres Straits.
