CONTINUED OUTRAGES IN LIMERICK. (From the Limerick and C lare Examiner.)

"The house of a tran named John Connell, the keepei of the County Limerick hound 5 :, at Carhue, near Croom, was on Thursday night attacked by a party of armed men. The p-»rty fin-t knocked at (he door mid demanded admittance, which being refused, they fired a shot in thiough the window. They then buist open the door, entered, and threaten* d to shoot the inmates if they offeicd the smallest resistance. The owner of the house happened to be in bed at the time, and one of the paity wns immediately paced on walch in his room. '1 lie remainder of the Indians then proceeded to search the house, and having found a gun, the object of their search, they went off wi lumt doing any further injury. An outr.igc somewhat similar to the above, occurred at Cuungh, in ibis county, on Wednesday night. A party of luffiana with laces blackened, forcibly entered the house of a ra.m named John M'Enerney. They dtagged him to the renire ol the kitchen, and placing him on his knees, thipntrned to blow out his brains, and to treat his wife in like manner if he did not give them money. The poor woman, who was overwhelmed with terror, gave them all the money she had in her possession, übout twenty five shillings. They ihen searched the house for more money, and found a small box, but on smashing it they found it to contain only 33.3 3 . Cd. With this much money, not finding any more in the house, they decamped. On Tuesday night the houses of Timothy Ryan, Con' nor Ryan, and John Ryan, at Routagh, were attacked by armed men in search of guns and money. They did not get firearms, but were banded two pounds in cash — before leaving the dwelling they fired shots. Five houses or cabins, lather, were maliciously burned to the ground upon Thursday night last, in Spout-road, Nenagh, county Tipperary. The poor people who oc cupied those cabins have lost all they possessed, by this occurrence.

THE NAVIGA TION LAWS. On Thursday, tbe Limerick Chamber of Commerce agree to petition Parliament against repeal ot the N avigation Laws.

Remarkable Fact. — It appears that many of the French journals are conducted by Englishmen and Scotchmen, who write articles in a foreign tongue, and act just as well as native editors. One of the principal Havre newspapers is conducted by a Scotchman. Ihe most important newspaper of Paris is edited by nn Englishman, and one ot his principal cautributtrs is an Englishman. To one or two of the daily newspapers, literary contributions from our countrymen are not rare ; and In the management of more than one of the light amusing pei iodicals of the day, they take 8n active part. These facts are a striking proof of our national supeiiority. And is it not really q remarkable thing, that Bi itons should manage French newspapers, shonld write in the Frenc 1 language on French affairs' for the information of Fienchmen ? It is not. too, a marvellous sign of tbetmiei, that instead of thinking it a national duty to cut Fiench throats, and hato Frenchmen, we dabble in their periodical literature ? What would our solemn old grandpapas say, it they were to see such things ? The King of Bavaria has spontaneously abolished the censorship of the press : the decree is dated on the 16' th instant, and is to take effect on the Ist gf January 18-18,
