Ptuon is appointed, by Ilis Excellency the (io\einoi-in-Chief, to be Civil Sccrctaiy to the Government of the Islands of New Zealand — hearing date from the 18th ultimo. A table of rates to be chaiged for trespass of cattle in the district of Auckland, as fixed by the Justices assembled on the 7th instant, is published, as follows —

There are also two lists of disallowed land claims, which we have extracted as they appeared, and will be found in our fourth page.
