THE COMMITTEE of the above Society, beg to announce that in future their Meetings will be held in the Mechanics' Institute, once a fortnight ; the first of which, under this arrangement, will take place on Monday Evening, next, 19th June, at Eight o'clock. The Members of the Society, and all who desire to promote Temperance, are earnestly requested to attend and aid the Committee in endeavouring to further the objects of the Society. June 13th, 1848.

FARM ON THE TAMAKI FOR SALE.
THE FARM belonging to Mr. D. White, situated within ten minutes walk of St. John's College. The Farm contains upwards of 104 acres 80 of which have heen cultivated and laid down in grass, 50 acres of which is well established being one and two years old. The uncultivated portion is nearly ready for the plough. The whole of this Farm is arable, abundantly watered at all seasons, and is well fenced and subdivided ; the soil is the finest in the district, and the quality of the pasture may be known from the fact of its being regularly stocked at the rate of one head per acre in giass, and their attaining to high condition. As a Dairy and Agricultural farm it is not surpassed. The Farm, if not sold within a limited period, will be offered for lease, on such terms and for such number of years as may be agreed on. Title — Crown grant, and purchased at Government public auction of Crown lands. Further information to be obtained from the owner on the farm. Payid White, June 6, 1818.
