SEPARATE TENDERS are requested for the materials and workmanship required in erecting one of the wings of the College, intended ro be built on the North Shore of Auckland ; the Tenders to be delivered at the Catholic Chapel House, Auckland, on or before the Ist June next. The Timber and Lime to be delivered on the beach, above high-water mark, at the head of Shoal Bay, immediately below the house occupied by Mr. W. Bellingham. Foi specifications and other particulars, apply to the undersigned. Tenders in the following order— 1. For Oyster Shell Lime, at per bushel. 2. For Timber, at per 100 feet super. 3. For Mason and Brick work: l 4. For Carpenter and Joiner work. 5. For Painting, Plumbing, and Glazing.
%*ln consequence of some alterations and additions having been made to the College Buildings, the time for receiving the Tenders has been fuither extended to Thursday, the Ist day of June. It will therefore be necessary for those who intend to tender for any of the work of said building, to see the Plans and Specifications again ; a sight of which can be obtained, and all necessary information given by application at my Office in Albert Street. NOTICE TO DEPOSITORS IN THE AUCKLAND SAVINGS' BANK.
HPHE Trustees of the above Institution ap- •*■ pointed under the Local Ordinance, hereby give Notice, that the Business of the above Bank, will be conducted at the Office of the Union Rank of Australia, in Princes' Street, on and after Monday, the 29th Instant, and that the hours of attendance will be as follows :—: — For Receiving Deposits — Mondays, from 9 to 10 o'clock in the Forenoon. For Paying — Saturdays, fiom 9 to 10 o'clock in the Forenoon. The old Depositors are requested to call on either of the above days, and sign the new Rules and Regutations, after which they will be entitled to receive 5 per cent Interest on the amount of their deposits. The proper days of attendance for the several Trustees can be learnt at the Bank office, and will be in the order of their appointment as published in the printed Rules. JGORRIE respectfully intimates that he • has removed his Class-Room from Shortland Street, to those premises in Chancery Street, at the rear of the Custom House and Post Office establishments ; where he will be happy to receive Pupils for tuition in the general and higher branches of education, viz :—: — English Reading and Grammar, Writing. Arithmetic, Geography, Mathematics, Latin, Greek, &c. Hours of attendance from 10 to 1, and from 2 to 4 o'clock. N. B. — An Evening Class from 6 to 9 o'clock. May 13, 1848.
