The Bulldog steamer, off Sardinia, has had a narrow escape of coming into collision with the Rodney, 90. It was blowing fresh, the night dark, and the Rodney bowling along with a spanking breeze, nearly tun into the steamer, lyinu-to. Indeed, the water from her hows washed the steamer's deck. The Lieutenant of the Bulldog shouted to the Rodney to port her helm, and the shout being heard aud attended, the disaster ivas avoided.
