MODE OF DELIVERY, 6th.~ The 1 equired supplies will not be taken into the charge of the Comimssaiiat, but must be delivered by the Contractor dnect to the peisons entitled theieto, on the older of the Senior Commissaiiat Offleer, or of any person to be deputed by him for that purpose.

GENERAL CONDITIONS. 7lh.— Each Tender sent in, in consequence of this Adveitisement, must be accompanied by a statement signed by two competent Person*, and evpressing their readiness, in the event of such Tender being accepted, to become secnnty for its due perfoimance. The penalty of the Bond to be given will be equal to the estimated amount of three months' supplies. And it is to be understood that the sureties w ill be held stiictly lesponsible foi the fulfilment of the Contrartor's engagements, any failing in which will be immediately followed by the enforcement of the penalty of Bond. Sth, — The m tides required for Hospitals must bo comprised in one Tender, — and the same Regulation will apply to those required for Ships of War. The other articles may be tendered together or separately. 91 h. — The Conti actor to prepare his own account accoiding to the preset ibed form 5 and on the pioduction theieof at tins Oilice, with the leqtiisite Vouchers in a complete state, shall I leeeive payment Monthly, by a Bill upon tho Louis Commissioneis of Her Majesty's Treasury, at Par, when the amount is Fifty Pounds or upwards: when under that Amount, Payment will be made in Cash. lOtli. — In the event of any Article offered being objected to as not agreeing with these Conditions, it will be submitted to a Board of Officeis, to be appointed by the Officer Commanding the Tioops, and if rejected by the Board, it will be replaced by the Commissariat Officer and chaiged against the Contractor, in the event of Ins neglecting to do so when required. 11th. — It shall be in the power of either party fo limit the duiation of the Contract by giving it wining a notice of three Calendar Months to the opposite party, and to end the Contract an the exphation of that period, it being understood that such notice can be given only from the fiist day of a month, and within the peiiod for which the Contract is made or agreed to be made. 12th —Each Tender to be in Duplicate, sealed, and endoreed " Tender for Biead," " Tender for Riim," Sec, as the case may be. 13th. — No Tendei once sent in, is to be withdiawn or altered, and Notice of those accepted will be given within three da)s of the time of opening. And on sufficient evidence being afforded that the sureties are satisfactory, the Bond is to be completed without delay. If any peisons who have tendered, lefuse to fulfil their oilers upon light or frivolous excuses,, they will be considered ineligible as Contractoi s en any future occasion. The Conlractoisfor the different Articles will be lequiied to supph such quantities as may be diiected by the Senioi Commissariat Officer — without reference to an) particular service, whether Military, Naval, or any other.
