NATIVE RACE. Twice round the cotnse, for horses bona fide the pioperty of, and to be ridden by, Aborigines, catch-weights. PONEY RACE. Heats once round the Course, for hoises fourteen hands and under, catch-weights.— Entrance 10s. Gd.

GARRISON PLATE. Heats once round the course— open to all horses ridden by Gentlemen. Hoises and riders to be named on the day of entry, by Ollicers of the Ganison. Three years old lOst. 9lbs. four, list, five, list. Gibs. six. and aged, list. lOlbs. Eng trance two sovereigns. If more than four hoises start, the owner of the second horse to receive back his stake.

BEATEN PLATE. Handicap, to be settled by the Stewards, or whom they may depute. The amount of the prize to be given for each Race will be declared m a -subsequent advertisment.

RULES. No horse to be entered for any slake, except the Native liace, which is not bona fide the property of a subscriber to the race fund of one guinea. Entrances to be made with the Clerk of the Course, at the Exchange Hotel, on or befoie Monday, the 24th instant. The Colois of the Ilideis to be declared at the time of Entrance, and not altered under a fine of 10s. Gd.,— to be added to the race fund. All stakes, subsciiptions, and fines to be made good before starting, or the horse whose owner or name shall make default, will not be entitled to win. All Matches to be declared to the Clerk of the Couise on the Entrance Day, that they may be inserted in the Lists, unless made after that period, when they will come off on the last day. The owner of each hoise entered for a match to pay 10s. 6d, to the Race Fund. All disputes to be refer! Ed to the Stewards whose decisions will be final. Auckland, Ist Jan. 1848.
