HIS Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified, that the new Charter will be proclaimed, and that His Excellency will take the Oaths of Office publicly in front of Government House, on Saturday next, the Ist instant, at two o'clock, p.m. All the Officers of Government and such of the Colonists as can conveniently attend, are requested to be present on this occasion. By His Excellency's command, Andrew Sinclair, Colonial Secretary.

Giahame, has been approved and appointed under the 34th Section of the Custom*' Ordinance, 4 Vie. No. 3, for the reception of Goods under Bond at this Port. t Henry D'abch, Collector.
