Caleb. Robinson* -Several -of the gentlemen of the Mechanic's Institute, who are pupils in Mr. Outhwaite'a vocal class, volunteered, and sang «' On a bank two. rose* lay," in admirable style, and were much applauded. Every thing went off with the greatest harmony and good feeling, and the party (separated at ten o'clock. < The large Lecture 100 m of the] Mechanics' Institute has been lately much improved, and the addition which has been made of two commodious ante-rooms, will contribute m»ch to the convenience of such parties as that of Monday evening.
