Auckland, 19th November, 1847. *TTNTIL further Notice, -Tendeis of British U Gold and Silver Coin in exchange for Bills on Her Majesty's Treasury, will be received at this Office, until noon of Thursday in each week. And at the same time Tenders will be received, for Bills to be drawn by the Undersigned, on the Senior Commissariat Officer, Sydney, New South Wales, payable at three clays sight. The Tenders to be in Duplicate, sealed, nnd endorsed " Tenders for Bills," and they must state distinctly the amount of money proposed to be allowed for each £100 in Bills. PARTIES desirous of contracting for the Supply of FRESH MEAT, for this Department, are informed that Tenders for that service will be received until noon of Wednesday, the Ist day of December next. The supply to commence on the Ist Apiil, 1848; and the Tenders may be sent in for a contract to last either for 1, 2, or 3 years from that date. Ample security will be required for the fulfilment of the contract, which must be entered into immediately on the acceptance of the Tender being notified. The Meat to consist of Beef and Mutton, and the conditions of Contract to be the same as those appearing in the advertisement in the New tfealander newspaper of the 25th ' January, 1847, calling for tenders for annual contracts, with the exception of the clause providing for the termination of the contract by a 3 months notice, which will only be applicable in case the contract is taken for a twelvemonth, but if taken for a longer period , the,notice for its termination must be increased in proportion, PHILIP TURNER, A.
