On all guns or weapons of any description, gunpowder, shot, lead, or munitions of war, 30 per cent. Wives, 20 per cent. Ale, beer, porter, cider, and perry, 15 per cent. On all other goods, wares, and merchandise, of British produce or manufacture, 10 per cent. On all other goods, wares, and merchandise, of Foreign manufacture, 12^ per cent.
Free of Duty,— Glass bottles, imported full ; Bullion and coin, —Horses, mules, asses, sheep, cattle, and all oilier livestock, and live animals. - Seeds, bulbs and plants,— -Printed books, (not being account books).
Remarks.— A quantity of Flour, ex " Souvenir," was offered for sale at Mr. Nathan's Auction Mart, yesterday, viz, 25 tons, (first quality) , and 25 tons seconds, but was withdrawn at £18 per ton. During the week, a parcel of 10 tons (firftt), was sold at £20. Accounts from Sydney, favour a rise, it is quoted there at £14. Fair lamples of Sugar have been disposed of at Auction, at £28, but prime sanr - pies remain at £34. Bums are firm at quotations. A littls bas been done inßrandy (Maitell's) at 16s. A sale of case Gin has been made at 28s. per 4 doz. case in bond, but the market price is still fiOs. duly paid. In Porter and Ales, little is ' doing. A parcel of prime Van Diemen's Land cured Beef was sold yesterday by 'Auction, at £3 per tierce,, and at same sale, 50 tons oil casks were knocked .down at £39 per tou.
